Children today do not exercise enough as only 20 % of preschool children achieve the minimum daily physical activity, which has a bad effect on their motor development. Our team decided to change that. We have combined a balance board, which strengthens the muscles of the trunk important for correct posture, with fun games for mobile devices, which motivate children to use the balance board on a daily basis.

Children develop their balance system up to the age of fifteen. The balance board is a toy with many positive effects on the child such as improving balance and coordination, greater attention and concentration, enhanced cognitive development and many others.

With its curved form and back and forth movement, Swingy strengthens the core muscles required for a healthy posture and improves balance and coordination. Improving balance helps children in everyday life as well as at sports such as rollerblading, biking, skating, climbing, and skiing. Swingy was developed in cooperation with professional experts including doctors, pharmacists, physical education professors, and exercise trainers.

The first game we developed is called Swing Pong. Each sensor controls one slider on the screen. The aim of the game is to bounce the ball left/right between the two sliders as far as possible, while various obstacles appear on the screen during the game, as well as rewards that make the difficulty harder or easier. Swing Pong is just the first of the games, as we are constantly developing new ones and you can expect the first 3D game soon. Swingy works with all iOS and Android devices.
